Veyrk Industries participated in the Thunderdome 26 C-UAS event at Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) in St. Inigoes MD during 19th & 20th August in order to further mature our low-cost hard kill interceptor – LoHKI. The annual event is sponsored by the aircraft division of Naval Air Warfare Center and hosted by the ‘Ghost Wolves’ of UX-24 Unmanned Aircraft Test squadron.
This year’s event focused on C-UAS interceptors so provided not only an opportunity to fly and demonstrate hard kill capabilities but to interact with those end users who are versed and seeking these solutions. There were nine vendors in attendance who were provided an opportunity to brief their technologies to attending VIPs and fly their demonstrators. Our LoHKI interceptor was briefed and flown during the event with excellent feedback from those attending. Veyrk CEO Jake Sullivan said of the event, “UX-24 were wonderful hosts of what was a well-organized event. We were happy to get a chance to fly and learn where we are in our development cycle and look forward to the opportunity to return in the future.”
